How it works

Welcome to the website that contains the full report of the Access to Medicine Index 2010. Via this website we offer you easy accessibility of all the detailed information in our report, so you can find what you are seeking more quickly. By using the tool  ‘My Report’, we provide you with the opportunity to create a tailor made report.

The information in this website is presented in a different format from what you may be used to on many other websites. The full contents of the Access to Medicine Index Report 2010 have been divided into articles, with keywords linked to each article. You will find these keywords in the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. By clicking a keyword, you can search within the report and refine your search results. After each click, only those articles remain that correspond with the keywords you clicked on, enabling you to find the information you are looking for quickly, and from various angles.

An example

Let’s assume you want to learn more about the scoring of Generic Pharmaceutical Company Dr. Reddy's in the area of Access to Medicine Management. To do this, first click on, for example, the ‘Generic Pharmaceutical Companies’ subject field. This opens a list of all Generic Pharmaceutical Companies listed in the index (see Figure 1).

Then click on ‘Dr. Reddy's', under ‘Generic Pharmaceutical Companies', and a list of articles that contain information about Dr. Reddy's is displayed. The figures behind the titles indicate how many sections relate to this subject (see Figure 2).

By clicking ‘Medicine Management’, under ‘Technical Area's’, you open a list of articles that contain information about Dr. Reddy's scoring in the area of Medicine Management (see Figure 3).

Additional features

This website has several additional features to facilitate your search:

1. Searching by keyword

You can enter keywords into the search field. The results can then be refined using the facet menu on the left-hand side of the screen (see Figure 4).

2. Previous / Next result

From any page, you can navigate to the previous or the next search result with a single click (see Figure 5).

3. Related information

Links to related information are presented next to many articles. These may be links within this website, but also links to external websites (see Figure 6).

4. My Report

You can add sections of interest to My Report. This enables you to combine several articles into a single PDF file that you may print or download (see Figure 7).
